ROCK THE ROCKS 2026
There is no experience quite like Rock the Rocks.
Each year, our community gathers at the Falls of the Ohio State Park for an unforgettable event celebrating music, nature, and one of the world’s most remarkable natural landscapes. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the 390-million-year-old fossil beds, Rock the Rocks is more than a concert—it’s a celebration that supports the mission of the Falls of the Ohio Foundation and inspires wonder through education, conservation, and community engagement. This year, our concert will feature Kentucky’s own award-winning bluegrass band, Mama Said String Band.
New for 2026, we’re expanding the experience with a free daytime Rock the Rocks Community Festival.
Before the evening concert, the Falls will come alive with a free daytime festival from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. featuring local mission-driven organizations, local businesses, family activities, and interactive experiences. This exciting addition creates new opportunities for community partners to connect with visitors and celebrate all that makes the Falls region unique. We will have animal encounters, art and education stations, as well as free admission to our Interpretive Center exhibits.
Join us on September 26th for live music on the Falls of the Ohio fossil beds and transform the Falls into one of the most unique, intimate concert experiences anywhere.
All sponsors receive unlimited food and drinks making this a great, casual experience to bring friends, clients, peers, and anyone who enjoys live music. If you are interesting in boothing space, please reach out to join the community festival.
