Planned Giving

You can help preserve the unique natural, cultural and historic resources of the Falls of the Ohio area by including the Foundation in your estate plans. Your support will guarantee the Falls of the Ohio Foundation’s future for decades to come.

With just a few simple steps you can make a lasting impact by…

  • Naming the Foundation in your Will or Trust,
  • Including the Foundation on IRA or insurance beneficiary designations,
  • Giving the gift of appreciated stock or securities,
  • Or you can make a current gift using Qualified Charitable distribution from your IRA.

Honoring Your Charitable Intent

When you let us know that you’ve made the choice to help preserve the Falls of the Ohio by including us in your estate plans you will become a member of the Legacy Society. You may remain anonymous, but by informing us of your intentions you help us honor your charitable intent for generations to come. All you need to do is complete the Planned Giving Form below and return it us.

The Foundation’s Legacy Society

The Legacy Society honors those people who have included the Foundation in their estate plans. Legacy Society members enjoy invitations to special events, and all the benefits afforded to our highest level supporters. We thank those people who have cared enough about our mission to ensure our work continues for future generations. If you would like information about how to include the Falls of the Ohio Foundation in your plans and become a member of the Legacy Society, please contact Kenton Wooden via email or call 812-283-4999.

Make a Difference

In 2023, Patty Cress supported the Falls of the Ohio Foundation by establishing an endowment fund for educational experiences. She stated, “The Falls is something that is unique and hands-on. I know that my gift will allow others to experience and learn about the Falls for generations to come. My hope is that others in our community will see our story and love of this place and join us in supporting the Foundation’s mission and these educational experiences” Read more.
