The Falls of the Ohio Foundation inspires a sense of wonder in the Falls of the Ohio region through education, preservation, and exploration. Since 1987 our nonprofit foundation has provided for important improvements, educational programs, and materials. Below are the current projects we are working on that are helping improve the preservation and access to the Falls of the Ohio’s natural landscape and historical stories.
Kentuckiana Underground Railroad Project
The Kentuckiana Underground Railroad Project is a multi-organizational initiative to create a light-based piece of public art interpreting and acknowledging the history of the Underground Railroad in the Falls of the Ohio region.
Education Pavilion
The Education Pavilion will provide new, covered, outdoor learning space for programs, field trips, tour groups, and special events.
