T’was the hike before Christmas, and all through the park, the naturalist led an outing, before it got dark.  River level permitting, volunteer naturalist Nick (he does have a beard!) will lead a hike on the fossil beds and other parts of the park.  Meets on the deck and moves to the wheelchair turnaround before we head towards the fossil beds and then make our way to other locations.  This is a free program.  $2 pay-to-park fee applies for the main lot.  Inclement weather cancels.  High water moves us to the picnic area.  Caroling and poetry are optional.  Nick might read an alternate version of the famous poem or crack some Christmas puns.  Observation Deck, 1 hour.
