This August, Ohio River Way and River City Paddle Sports are teaming up with local partners, including Falls of the Ohio Foundation, to celebrate the recent designation of the Ohio River Way as a National Water Trail by giving back to the river that connects us all. This collaborative effort brings together paddlers, conservationists, and community members for a hands-on adventure in stewardship and celebration, honoring the Ohio River as a treasured and trail-worthy natural resource. Volunteers can sign up for a seat in one of our 30-foot voyageur canoes—15 spots are available each day and may fill quickly. You’re also encouraged to bring your own paddle craft or motorboat to join the cleanup. If you bring your own boat, you’ll be responsible for its transport and we ask that you help transport trash back to the boat ramp.
