Earth Day River Cleanup 2025

| Candace, We’re excited to invite you to our Annual Community Clean-Up to celebrate Earth Day and give back to the environment! Here’s everything you need to know about how you can help make a difference: Event Details: When: April 22nd (Earth Day), 3:00 – 5:00 PM Where: The Falls of the Ohio Sponsored by: Meta This is a fantastic opportunity to get outdoors, connect with your community, and make a positive impact by helping clean up one of our region’s most beautiful natural spaces! The Falls of the Ohio Foundation and Meta have generously partnered with the Leadership Southern Indiana team to hold this event, and we can’t wait to roll up our sleeves together! What to Bring: -Gloves: Please bring your own gloves (leather or gardening gloves are recommended). We will have a limited supply available. -Water Bottle: Stay hydrated! There will be a water refill station on-site, but feel free to bring your own reusable water bottle. We will also have disposable water bottles available. -Comfortable Shoes/Boots: It can be muddy, so please wear sturdy, weather-appropriate footwear. -Lunch or Snacks: After the clean-up, join us for a picnic-style gathering! Bring your lunch, snacks, or a tasty beverage to enjoy with fellow volunteers. Additional Volunteer Opportunity: For those who prefer to help indoors, there is a parallel volunteer opportunity from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at the Interpretive Center, where you can assist with classroom activities.
