Picnic tables and grills are scattered throughout the park for your use and enjoyment. Tables are under trees, in the open and a few are underneath a large gazebo-type pavilion at the Clark home site. Tables are first-come-first use. The largest picnic area is behind the Interpretive Center and it may be reserved by schools visiting the park. Families and individuals may use the large picnic area if it is unoccupied.
Please abide by the park’s carry-in/carry-out policy. Pack out your trash when you leave. Breezes along the river’s edge are common, so watch for and gather loose items that blow off the table.
