Conklin (Jim) was at the University of Louisville and Mrs. Barbara Conkin established the geoscience program at the Jefferson Community College. Both taught\, published numerous studies\, wrote books\, and influenced the careers of many students from the 1960s – 1990s.

SUMMARY:George Rogers Clark Junior Ranger Program
DESCRIPTION:Falls of the Ohio State Park offers youth\, ages 7-12\, several opportunities to become a Junior Ranger.  Our most recent historical Junior Ranger program is about the life of George Rogers Clark\, one of the great figures of the American frontier. This program features several hands-on activities. Participants will receive a certificate after completion of the program. $2 program fee is covered by a Falls of the Ohio Foundation grant. Meets in the rotunda.
