SUMMARY:What has branches but isn't a tree?
DESCRIPTION:Branching is common is nature. Trees may be the most familiar\, but they weren’t the first – by a long shot. We will look at marine fossils that branch – corals\, bryozoans\, and others – and discuss why branches form. What else branches in nature that isn’t alive? Come find out. Park naturalist and paleontologist Alan Goldstein will present this free program in the rotunda.
