Here’s everything you need to know about how you can help make a difference:\n\n \n\nEvent Details:\n\nWhen: April 22nd (Earth Day)\, 3:00 – 5:00 PM\n\nWhere: The Falls of the Ohio\n\nSponsored by: Meta\n\n \n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to get outdoors\, connect with your community\, and make a positive impact by helping clean up one of our region’s most beautiful natural spaces! The Falls of the Ohio Foundation and Meta have generously partnered with the Leadership Southern Indiana team to hold this event\, and we can’t wait to roll up our sleeves together!\n\n \n\nWhat to Bring:\n\n-Gloves: Please bring your own gloves (leather or gardening gloves are recommended). We will have a limited supply available.\n\n-Water Bottle: Stay hydrated! There will be a water refill station on-site\, but feel free to bring your own reusable water bottle. We will also have disposable water bottles available.\n\n-Comfortable Shoes/Boots: It can be muddy\, so please wear sturdy\, weather-appropriate footwear.\n\n-Lunch or Snacks: After the clean-up\, join us for a picnic-style gathering! SUMMARY:Make an Origami Ornament
DESCRIPTION:Origami is a form of paper folding to make various shapes\, especially animals. Karen Fowler\, park volunteer\, will show you how to make a paper ornament through a Japanese art form that is at least 600 years old. This program will be held in the picnic area or in the rotunda if hot. $2 program fee covered by a grant from the Falls of the Ohio Foundation.
