John James Audubon is considered the founder of the illustration style that puts birds in their natural setting.  This two-session class, taught by seasonal naturalist Mike Gibson will focus on how Audubon’s art technique was considered innovative for the early 19th century.  Participants will choose from taxidermy mounts or photos of birds taken at the Falls to create their artwork.   Art materials will be provided for this free program sponsored by the Falls of the Ohio Foundation.   Class is appropriate for all ages.   Second Session is planned for May 21, 3:00 – 4:00pm
