Play “Bird-O” – A Fun Activity
- This event has passed.
- April 13, 2020 - April 30, 2020
Birds are the one type of wildlife that can be attracted to your yard without ruining your landscaping. They occur in great diversity, but if you watch your resident species long enough, you will note they have certain habits and territories. If you have great patience, you can sit, watch and listen to birds from the porch or lounge chair.
Make a game out of it – play solo (see how long it takes to win), or make it a family activity.
Fill in – Across, diagonal, four corners, around the world. You can randomly place a free spot anywhere on the grid before you begin. If you know bird calls, this can be done by ear.
If you can do so safely, walk the Woodland Trail and around the Falls of the Ohio State Park (or do this in your neighborhood).
