Lions and Reptiles and Bugs, Oh My! The “Sorting” of Life

Geared for children from age 7 – 14, we will use models of animals to explore how biologists sort life. Participants will organize models into groups and explore why we organized them the we did. We will discuss how we document the similarities of life and the classification of living things. This program, led by Dr. Dominque McGowen, will be a mixture of discussion, explanation and hands-on activities.
