The Falls of the Ohio State Park and Foundation offer many opportunities to get involved including group volunteering, service learning and our Naturalist at Heart Volunteer Program.
Family Nature Club celebrates this weekend 50 years ago when the first astronauts landed on the moon. Members of the Louisville Astronomical Society will provide hands-on activities including wearing a helmet, learn how to look at the moon with a telescope, photo-ops, and more. Meets in the picnic area, unless inclement weather, then we’ll be in the Interpretive Center.
Interpretive Center admission is not required. $2 program fee paid at admissions desk. $2 parking fee, exempt with a 2019 Indiana State Parks Entrance Pass. Program free for Falls of the Ohio Foundation members.
Family Nature Club was created in 2015 to encourage families with children age 4 to 12 to get outside with friends and do something fun! Make time to enjoy nature with good company. Activities are designed to promote thinking. Club activities last no more than one hour.
