Loading Events

Do you enjoy TV programs on coral reefs? Would like to hear from someone who spent nearly 2,000 hours underwater over ten years doing research? The Falls of the Ohio State Park has a special presentation by Dominique McCowan, Falls of the Ohio interpretive naturalist. She obtained her PhD in marine biology in Australia and will talk about her adventures in while studying the famous Great Barrier Reef, one of the world’s greatest natural wonders. Dom will share her album with photos of the Great Barrier Reef and its occupants, while telling sea-faring tales, like being chased by barracuda and stand-offs with sharks. Some tropical rain forest stories will also be included. Admission to the program is free but it doesn’t include visiting the Interpretive Center exhibit gallery.
