Marine biology is a popular career goal for children. Working with dolphins and whales sound like a lot of fun. But marine biology covers a huge range of topics – from plankton to coral reefs to polar ecosystems and more. Dominique McCowen is a local marine biologist with her PhD from James Cook University in Queensland, Australia. She will provide an overview of the challenges to become a marine biologist and answer questions from the audience.
