Educator Information

The Falls of the Ohio State Park was created with student experiences in mind. We have been providing K-16 grade educational opportunities since January 1994. Please consult any of the six links below to learn more about the various student and teacher-related programs we offer throughout the year.  Check out our Events at the Park, Kid's Page and the Discovery Center for many activities and resources.

Are you a Title I school?

A fully-paid field trip for up to 90 students is available

(covers admission and transportation within 60 miles)

on October 11 (9:30 to 12 / 12:30 to 3:00 options available).

Grades K-16 Group Admission Cost:

$7 per student

Includes a tour of the exhibit gallery and a hands-on lab*

Chaperones are 1 free per 5 students

Additional adults with the group are $7 each

Small grants are available to Indiana educators to bring a class to an Indiana State Park.

The Falls @ School

Interactive Labs for YOUR classroom are available at a cost of only $2 per student (minimum fee $60). Labs include fossils and minerals. Contact us at 812-280-9970 for information or to make a reservation. Our outreach is limited to locations within a 1 hour drive radius. Schedules may be restricted by staff availability with priority for groups coming the the state park.
