The Elephant Bird (also called Aepyornis) may have been driven to extinction by humans centuries ago. They lived on Madagascar, off the coast of Africa and were related to Ostriches. It would take 160 chicken eggs to have the same volume. Omelet anyone? Complete eggs are extremely rare.
